Dr Beth Meadows is a Sociologist of Public Health, specialising in LGBTQIA+ alcohol inequalities, associated nightlife spaces and alcogenic/alcohol-free cultures.
Beth recently completed her PhD at Glasgow Caledonian University entitled ‘Are you being served? Exploring Alcohol-Free Nightlife Spaces for LGBTQIA+ Communities’.
She has previously worked extensively in the third sector with LGBTQIA+ communities, and as such is very motivated by research which champions lived experience, whilst making a material impact in marginalised communities.
